Field Service Engineer
My client, a leading UK manufacturer of standard and bespoke Microbiological Safety Cabinets, laminar flow products, and associated clean air equipment, is looking for a talented Field Service Engineer to join their team. This full-time position will cover South-Eastern England, with nationwide travel and occasional overnight stays required.
Responsibilities:
* Provide service, maintenance, repair, and commissioning services in hospitals, universities, pharmaceutical manufacturing, and research facilities.
* Field-based role primarily across South-Eastern England, with some nationwide cover.
* Weekend and overseas travel may be required, including occasional travel to the head office in Manchester.
* Work primarily scheduled during normal working hours, Monday to Friday.
Requirements:
Essential:
* Proven experience in a site/field engineer role.
* Mechanical proficiency.
* Full UK driving license.
* Passport.
* Problem-solving skills and a can-do attitude.
* Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills.
* Good communication skills, both written and spoken English.
* Proficient computer skills, including email, Microsoft Excel, and Word.
* Successful completion of BPSS background check (expense covered by us).
Desirable:
* Testing to BS EN 12469, ISO 14644, BS EN 14175 standards.
* Installation & Operational Qualification (IQOQ).
* Factory acceptance testing (FAT).
* KI testing.
* DOP testing.
* P601 LEV training.

* Salary £30,000-£40,000 DOE
