Role Overview: As a Learning Mentor, you will play a key role in supporting students' academic and personal development. You will work closely with teachers, parents, and external agencies to provide targeted support to students who may face challenges in their learning. Your primary goal will be to help students overcome barriers to learning, improve their confidence, and achieve their academic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide one-on-one and group mentoring to students, focusing on academic support, emotional well-being, and social skills.
Work closely with teachers to identify students in need of additional support and develop tailored intervention plans.
Assist in monitoring student progress and adapting strategies to meet individual needs.
Build strong relationships with students, encouraging positive attitudes toward learning and school life.
Liaise with parents and external agencies to ensure comprehensive support for students.
Contribute to the overall pastoral care and safeguarding of students.
Requirements:

Previous experience working with young people in an educational setting, preferably in a mentoring or pastoral role.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, staff, and parents.
Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for supporting students' development.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A good understanding of the challenges faced by students in a diverse urban environment.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
