This is an excellent opportunity to join a market-leading business in Birmingham as a Senior Financial Reporting Manager, offering a competitive salary of up to £90,000, plus bonus, benefits, and hybrid working.
Key Responsibilities As Senior Financial Reporting Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the integrity and accuracy of financial reporting processes. You will lead a team, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and provide strategic insights to senior stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing the preparation of statutory and management financial reports
- Ensuring compliance with IFRS, UK GAAP, and other regulatory requirements
- Managing the month-end and year-end reporting processes
- Leading and mentoring a team of finance professionals
- Partnering with senior stakeholders to provide financial insights and recommendations
- Driving process improvements and automation to enhance reporting efficiency
Key Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need:
- To be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with significant post-qualification experience
- Strong technical accounting knowledge (IFRS/UK GAAP)
- A track record of success in financial reporting and control
- Experience in managing and developing high-performing teams
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- A proactive approach to driving efficiencies and improvements
- Degree in accountancy, economics or business.
