The Recruitment Co. is urgently recruiting for an Warehouse Operator to join our clients team based in the Baglan area. Paid Weekly!

Rate of pay: £11.45ph inc 15% shift allowance= £13.17ph (overtime available at higher rates) Hours of work: 6-6 12 hour day shifts- continental shift pattern (averages out at 42 hours per week) Contract: Temp initially for a 4 week period but may turn permanent subject to headcount in dept being agreed

Main Responsibilities:

• Operating within the warehouse
• Picking packing and scanning customer goods
• Getting products ready for dispatch
• Load finished goods using manual material handling equipment
• Check load is safe and secure
• Identify and report any product damage or quality deficiencies
• Work closely and in cooperation with the rest of the Day Services and Shift teams
• Carry out any other reasonable request and support the colleagues in case of needTo ensure a high level of housekeeping of the working area is maintained throughout the shift
• To ensure health & safety rules are adhered to

Requirements:

• Experience using handheld scanners preferred
• Experience using ride on powered pump trucks preferred but not essential
• Has previous experience working in manufacturing or a warehouse environment
• Excellent communication skills
• Works well in a team and individually
• DBS checks will be carried out on day 1 of the assignment and the company offers a NO conviction policy.
