Role: Technical Sales ExecutiveSalary: £35,000 - £40,000 + Company carLocation: RemoteFull time permanent The BusinessThe business has been established over 50 years and has recently moved to the Scunthorpe area, they are looking for a technical sales executive who can have an immediate impact showcasing their drive and determination by growing and developing themselves parallel with the business.The role

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and penetrate the market effectively
  • Promote UK products and solutions to contractors, architects, engineers and other relevant stakeholders within the construction industry
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions to their challenges
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify target clients, market trends and competitive landscape to inform sales strategies and product positioning
  • Manage sales pipeline, including lead generation, qualification and conversion as well as utilising the CRM tools effectively
  • Develop a deep understanding of UK products, their applications and benefits to effectively communicate value propositions to customers
  • Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and analyses to track performance against targets and identify areas for improvement

Skills and Experience

  • Proven track record of success in sales, preferably within the construction or building materials industry.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence decision-makers.
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking, with the ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Trade shows experience
  • An understanding of Barbour ABI
