11kV Design / New Connections Design Engineers required for secondment into Northern Powergrid.

To be considered for this career-building opportunity, it is essential you have a BEng or equivalent in an Electrical Engineering subject. Experience using AutoCAD, Windebut and power systems modelling software is also required.

The role is to design LV and 11kV connections, so experience of HV network / power distribution design is needed, ideally from working for an Independent Connections Provider (ICP) or Independent Distribution Network Operator (IDNO).

This is an excellent opportunity for someone to further career in the UK HV engineering sector, with opportunities to progress that you won't have access to away from a DNO environment.
