Finance Manager Needed!

Are you an experienced Finance Manager ready for your next challenge? Our client, a leading organisation in the automotive industry, is seeking a talented and dynamic individual to join their team in Crewe for a 6 month initial contract. With a daily rate of £300 (inside IR35 via umbrella), this is an unmissable opportunity.

Hybrid working - 2 - 3 days in Crewe

As the Finance Manager, you will provide critical support to the Head of Finance and Risk - Battery Electric Vehicle, ensuring complete financial control of one of our client's Programmes. Your main goal will be to maintain transparency of financial performance, risks, and opportunities, ensuring compliance with necessary processes. You will work closely with the Project Personnel and Functions, proactively highlighting potential opportunities and risks. You will also be responsible for evaluating other vehicle programmes using the same platform.

Key Responsibilities:

1 . Control and report on the financial performance of the Project, ensuring targets are met and variances are transparent. Timely communication with the modules and project team is crucial to identify achievements and understanding.

2. Assist in creating a comprehensive Risk Management Programme, incorporating relevant vehicle programme risk data.

3 . Evaluate scenario work impacting the project and other related vehicle programmes, considering revenues, expenditures, and financial plans.

4 . Actively participate in strategic programmes, providing functional guidance and driving overall business acumen and knowledge. Coordinate with finance colleagues to streamline efforts.

To excel in this role, you must establish strong working relationships across various finance and non-finance teams within our client's organisation and the wider companies. Your ability to influence and lead without direct managerial responsibility will be a key success factor.
