- Alex, Senior Social Worker, DAAT

Join Northamptonshire Children's Trust's fantastic Duty and Assessment Team (DAAT). We are the first point of contact for safeguarding concerns about children and young people in the county. Our team works collaboratively with professionals across multiple services, ensuring that children and families are supported effectively and safely. We're committed to supporting social workers with robust development opportunities and a strong team culture.

About the Team

Our DAAT teams are not just hardworking but also fun and supportive. We work at pace, completing thorough short-term assessments of need, but always make time to bond and enjoy shared meals. Managers are hands-on, offering guidance and support when needed, and the team thrives on collaboration and mutual respect.

What You Will Be Doing

Working closely with a broad range of agencies, you'll be part of a service that ensures the safety and wellbeing of children in Northamptonshire. With a rotating duty element, you'll work across various cases, from initial referrals through to transition to other teams.

About You

As a Senior Social Worker, you will lead a team of social workers, support assessments, and interventions, and contribute to the county's child protection strategy.
