We are seeking an exceptional Duty Manager to join the Claridge’s team.

Claridge’s has a famous all-day dining and Afternoon Tea restaurant the ‘Foyer & Reading Room’, L’Epicerie that offers a culinary theatre of the kitchen, and three bars: Claridge’s Bar, the intimate Fumoir and effortlessly elegant Painter’s Room.

As a Duty Manager you will be responsible for:

• Creating renowned memorable experiences for all our guests, entertaining existing and potential clients. Building rapport with individual guests, in order to create emotional bonds.
• Dealing with challenging guests and resolving complaints, with tact and diplomacy.
• Liaising with all relevant departments to ensure that guest service is consistently maintained to the Maybourne Hotel Group standards.
• Assist in managing and leading the reception team, including assisting with training requirements for the department, to ensure employee satisfaction.
• Assist in achieving the departmental objectives of maximizing occupancy, maintaining and building on the reputation of the hotel and ensuring that business objectives are accomplished.

Successful candidates for our Duty Manager opportunity will:

• Demonstrate genuine dedication to Claridge’s and show a commitment to consistent quality in our product and service.
• Strive to constantly improve guest satisfaction, you will have the ability to deal with high profile clients in a professional manner, and will create exceptional service experiences, that result in lasting memories.
• Successful candidates will show an in-depth knowledge of hotel reception procedures and a good understanding of all other working areas of the hotel.
• Be able to work in a pressured environment, and consistently reach our high standards.
• Demonstrate outstanding leadership and interpersonal skills; be able to motivate a high performing team.
• Ideally you will have worked within a similar role within luxury hospitality.
• Have immaculate personal presentation, and a warm, welcoming personality.
