Warehouse Manager

Branston - Burton-On-Trent

Permanent position! Salary up to £30,000 per annum

We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Manager for a company based in Branston who are a leading provider of outsourced business solutions to FMCG manufacturers and retailers. They were listed in the Times Hundred Fastest Growing Companies for both 2021 and 2022. With over 7500 employees, they are based over numerous sites in the UK and internationally.

Daily Tasks:

* Support day-to-day warehouse operation, ensuring that all service, cost and health and safety targets are met or exceeded

* To support the Operations/Shift Manager in the day to day running of the operations

* To support the Operations/Shift Manager in co-ordinating any issues

Skills Required:

* Previous experience in a similar role leading a team

* Proven track record in warehousing and customer management

* Valid Counterbalance License

* Ability to efficiently lead a team, delegate, supervise functions and keep staff motivated

* Ability to demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of on-site systems

* PC Literate in Word, Excel and Outlook

* Excellent time management skills, strong interpersonal, conciliation skills and the capacity to network with suppliers and customers

* Knowledge of WMS Systems

* Knowledge of Warehouse Operations

* Understanding of BRC Requirement

* Enthusiasm, drive and commitment

* Successful leader of teams and have positive personal qualities and attributes

Desirable experience, skills & behaviours:

* IOSH Managing safety Level 3 qualification

* Experience using SAP

Pay Rate:

* Up to £30,000 per annum

Hours:

Monday to Friday, rotating 6am - 2pm / 2pm - 10pm
