Management Accountant Loughborough Full Time, Permanent £45,000 SF Recruitment are working with a Manufacturing business in Loughborough in their search for a Management Accountant. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Management Accountant to join a stable & supportive environment. As the Management Accountant you will report directly into Managing Director & assist with overseeing the transactional Finance team(AP & AR). Duties of the Management Accountant- Control cashflow on a daily / weekly and monthly basis, together with forecasts. - Preparation of monthly management accounts and statutory accounts. - Preparation of Management information reports. - Preparation of statutory monthly reports (eg ECSL, VAT returns, intrastat) - Analysis of costs and nominal accounts. - Fully document new and existing processes and reports to a high standard. - Transactional support for purchase ledger and credit control. - Review and authorise the monthly payroll, including checking for errors and anomalies, verifying hours worked, sick days used, and other employee information. - Monthly reconciliation of all payroll related balance sheet control accounts - PAYE, Pensions etc. - Monthly stocktake reporting. - Assist in preparation of the annual budget. - Coordinate the annual external audit, annual/interim. - Authorising credit notes & bank payments. Experience & Skills of the Management Accountant:- Experience of working in a Finance Team and providing business partnering support to the group. - QBE/Part Qual or Qualified - Experience of producing monthly management accounts - Previous experience of dealing with people at all levels including directors - Strong Excel skills.
