Due to expansion, they're looking for an experienced Sales Ledger Assistant to join their team, they want to progress this person and this role will offer the opportunity to move into management eventually.

What will you be doing?

Speaking with external & internal customers to chase debt and deal with any queries and reply within a reasonable timescale.
Complete credit risk assessments with the analysis of old and new customers' credit via the credit management system: collecting financial information and defining credit limits.
To understand and be able to cover the creation of manual billing documents such as reimbursement invoicing, rebates and other monthly charges
Support the monthly accounting closing cycle in accordance with internal established procedures and deadlines.
Contacting past customers and investigating why debt hasn't been paid and to correct or reconcile the problem.
Speaking with external & internal customers to chase debt and deal with any queries and reply within a reasonable timescale.
To work closely with Accounts Receivable Supervisor to improve awareness of issues and how to resolveWhat skills are we looking for?

Demonstrable Experience working in an Accounts Receivable / Credit Control environment
Sales Ledger Knowledge.
Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
Strong problem-solving, and analytical skills with a solutions-focused mindset
Ability to meet deadlines.
