The Role:

As an Electrician, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality re-wires, repairs, and inspections while ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations. Your duties will include:

Electrical installations of 230v and 400v systems.

Diagnosing and repairing faults, completing relevant certification.

Carrying out ongoing testing and upgrading work.

Installing and maintaining energy-saving and carbon-reducing technology.

Being available for an optional out-of-hours call-out rota.

Managing and recording vehicle stock, tools, and equipment.

Using and maintaining allocated mobile devices.

Participating in training, one-on-ones, toolbox talks, and appraisals.
What The Electrician Will Need:

Proven experience working with electrical systems and H&S legislation

City & Guilds 236 (Parts 1 & 2) or equivalent NVQ Level 3 & AM2 certificate

Qualification in and working knowledge of BS7671

Evidence of continuing professional development

Ability to work independently and safely while delivering high standards

Strong communication and IT skills

A valid and clean driving license

Personal values aligned with housing associations and care providers
Desirable:

City & Guilds 2391 (Inspection & Testing)

Knowledge of confidentiality and professional boundary standards

Experience in social housing or similar environments
