Elderly Person Mental Health Nurse (RMN)
Location: On-site, Lancashire
Employment Type: 3-6 month contract
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Salary: Band 6 day time rate
Spencer Clarke Group is looking for a Registered Elderly Person's Mental Health Nurse to join our client in Lancashire.
The successful candidate will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, managing a caseload of elderly adults with a variety of mental health conditions, including dementia, depression, anxiety, and psychosis.
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial assessments and ongoing reviews of patients, ensuring that care plans are regularly updated and reflect the patient's evolving needs.
- Ensure timely and appropriate interventions are put in place, working collaboratively with other professionals and services
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all medication administration in line with best practice guidelines.
- Monitor and assess patients for side effects and any adverse reactions to medications.
Essential requirements:
- Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with an active NMC pin.
