Job Description:

We are seeking reliable and experienced Class 2 Drivers to join our agency for temporary assignments across a range of clients. This role requires drivers who are comfortable making deliveries into Central London. Most jobs involve one drop per shift, ensuring a straightforward and manageable workload.

Key Responsibilities:

* Safely operate a Class 2 (Category C) vehicle to complete scheduled deliveries, primarily in and around Central London.

* Conduct pre- and post-journey vehicle checks to ensure safety and roadworthiness.

* Manage single-drop deliveries, often involving pallets or larger items.

* Navigate central London traffic and comply with all relevant transport laws and company policies.

* Maintain accurate and up-to-date delivery paperwork and logs.

* Communicate with the agency and clients to ensure smooth deliveries and report any issues or delays.

* Follow specific client instructions and represent the agency in a professional manner.

Requirements:

* A valid UK driving licence with Category C (Class 2) entitlement.

* Current CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) and Digital Tachograph card.

* Previous experience as a Class 2 driver, preferably with knowledge of Central London routes and traffic conditions.

* Ability to handle basic manual tasks, such as loading/unloading when required.

* Strong communication skills and a professional, customer-focused attitude.

* Willingness to work across different industries and adapt to varying client needs.
