Brook Street Social Care are proud to be providing support to a service within Manchester, who offer 24-hour support to service users within a home environment via supported tenancies.

The service provides supported accommodation for a mixture of adult with complex challenges who have a diagnosis of mental health and/or a learning disability.

We are seeking to recruit a part time Care Administrator to join their long standing and well-established team in Manchester on a 25 hours per week basis.

As the Care Administrator will be responsible for supporting the registered manager with the day to day running of the home on an administrative basis.

About the role:

To undertake internal weekly and monthly audits and to manage the audit file - advising the Registered Manager of any discrepancies
To undertake daily/weekly/monthly tasks ensuring paperwork is in place
Update the diaries for the propriety, the Development manager and the Registered Manager
To assist with the staff rotas ensuring a good mix of staffing skills and identifying when staff need to be recruited in advance
To take notes at internal meetings and produce timely, accurate minutes
To check and verify all care staff rotas against time sheets and process the four weekly payrolls to issue to the accountant for payment
To provide effective induction training to all new staff (following the company policy) on topics relevant to activities and tenants within the Home.
To help the Manager apply the disciplinary rules as laid down and to assist in the implementation of the disciplinary procedures pertaining to care staff
To carryout DBS checks for all new employees and update existing inline with company policy
To assist the senior staff in purchasing and monitoring of stock levels of food and household consumables, ensuring stock levels are maintained and monitored effectively
Help prepare advertising material as and when required
To be successful for this role:
You must have up to date experience and knowledge of good care practices.

To have carried out internal audits
Good planning, management and organisational skills
Extremely Computer Literate in ALL Microsoft packages especially Word & Excel
Excellent communication skills with both staff, tenants and external parties
Able to update the website with accurate information.
Able to work with the Required Systems quality management system we have in house for policies and procedures.
Able to Update the WebsiteThis is a part time 25 hours per week vacancy at £13ph. Working hours are 9am to 2pm Monday through to Friday each week.
