Ford Halewood Transmissions Limited (FHTL) are seeking a Logistics Engineer to work in their Logistics department

Qualifications and Experience required by the Logistics Engineer

• A Degree or equivalent must be attained within a relevant subject

• Computer literacy - Excellent knowledge of Word, Excel & other Microsoft office applications

• Strong written and oral communications skills

• WERS experience preferred

• CMMS experience preferred

• Experience of reading engineering drawings essential

• Experience with manage the change or BOM management essential

• Proven ability to work within a Team

Key Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

• Ordering supplier PSW parts for changes through CMMS and liaise with central STA

• Understanding changes and their impact and signoff of PSWs

• Complete functional builds for changed supplier parts

• Liaising with supplier's and engineers to time in and time out changed parts

• Management of BoM's within CMMS with reference to the WERS system

• Management of current parts moving to service

• Attend and support weekly product PCT meetings with central design engineering

• Report to monthly Plant Health Check with senior management

• Service analyst - including planning and scheduling

• Service customer liaison

• Support in preparation for all audits

• Support plant All Time Run Strategy

• Support Future Launch Activity

In line with business requirements the role will include analyst functions to support versatility within the department. These include but not limited to:

• Production planning and SCM

• Spec and Audit

• Customs

• Inventory Management

• 3 x 3 versatility

Working Hours

Monday to Thursday 7:00-15:30 and Friday 7:00-12:30
