They are looking for a dynamic professional to join their Global Supply team. As an Associate Destination Manager, you will be responsible for the overall health of your assigned destinations as well as managing relationships with suppliers who list their inventory of tour, activity, and ticket products on the platform and their network of affiliate sites. Primary responsibilities include developing and maintaining relationships with partners while maintaining and strengthening the health of your assigned territory through the eyes of a traveller. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to understand technical systems and processes, and polished internal and external communication skills. The ideal candidate has proven experience in managing and optimising accounts and destinations. - Build and grow relationships with tour, activity, and attraction suppliers in assigned destination/s.
- Proactively reach out to suppliers and provide recommendations to improve product quality.
- Retain supply, secure inventory, and develop new products to meet traveller demand; increase destination conversion.
- Identify opportunities to improve product terms; grow destination value
- Research assigned destinations, identify new suppliers, drive outreach, and onboard target suppliers.
- Serve as the main point of contact for suppliers to help resolve issues and answer questions.
- Audit, and edit as needed, destinations and points of interest within assigned territory to serve traveller needs and interests
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders
Requirements
- Languages: English (Required), Italian or French (Desirable, but not essential)
- Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or equivalent work experience.
- Sales experience, preferably with an online company (E-commerce, tech, Travel & Tourism)
- Previous Travel and Tourism experience (Highly desirable)
- Experience with Salesforce (Preferred) or a similar CRM
- Experience building new relationships with travel services suppliers, and maximising on existing ones
- The position will be covering the European market
