We have an exciting opportunity for a Supply Chain & Operational Procurement Manager to join our Procurement department at The London Clinic, based at our main site in London (W1G 6BW). We are offering a competitive inclusive salary range of £60,848 - £71,495 per annum.

Job Profile:

As the Supply Chain & Operational Procurement Manager, you will lead and have overall accountability for our Supply Chain & Operational Procurement function. You will also be the systems manager and Information Asset Owner for the Catalogues & Inventory Management System (IMS). Reporting directly to the Head of Procurement, the Supply Chain & Operational Procurement Manager will maintain close working relationship with the Procurement Department's leadership team, to provide a professional and proactive service.

  • Job Type: Permanent, Full time.
  • Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday.
  • Job Location: 20 Devonshire Place, London, W1G 6BW.
  • Salary: £60,848 - £71,495 per annum.

Key Duties:

  • Lead an efficient, professional, customer focused Supply Chain & Operational Procurement service to all user departments.
  • Responsible for the development of supply chain solutions that best address the control, ordering, and reduction of wastage of stock.
  • Responsible for determining the best route into the London Clinic of all products with consideration to routes such as distribution organisations, other third-party warehousing and direct from supplier.
  • Ensuring the effective relationship & processes between the Supply Chain team and the Operational Procurement Team so that the delivery of goods is carefully planned and received into the London Clinic so as to ensure goods are delivered as and when required.
  • Responsible for ensuring standardisation of product and enforcement of contracts for products that are managed by the Supply Chain & Operational Procurement team.

Skills & Experience:

  • Experience in a supply chain leadership role within a complex environment; experience in a healthcare environment desirable.
  • Demonstratable experience line managing staff, with an ability to motivate and manage a team to deliver objectives and reach targets.
  • Comprehensive knowledge and experience of stores procedures including: Stock Rotation, Stocktaking, Stock Replenishments and Returns.
  • Knowledge and experience of purchasing procedures.
  • Demonstrable experience of advanced statistical and data analysis skills, as well as Risk assessment/analysis.
