CMA Recruitment Group are working with a reputable, commercial business based in Portsmouth, Hampshire, for the recruitment of an Assistant Management Accountant.This career enhancing opportunity has arisen due to business growth and will work closely alongside the Finance Manager.

What will the Assistant Management Accountant vacancy involve:

• Assisting with preparation of the monthly management accounts, including accruals and prepayments.
• Analysing variances and producing reports.
• Support with monthly reporting in relation to KPIs.
• Performing balance sheet and bank reconciliations.
• Assist with the preparation of weekly flash reports.

Suitable candidate for the Assistant Management Accountant vacancy:

• AAT qualified and /or studying towards CIMA /ACCA (or equivalent)
• Prior experience dealing with month end procedures.
• A good working knowledge of excel including pivot tables, v-look ups.
• Possess excellent analytical skills and the ability to confidently liaise with all levels of staff.
