Our client is a Legal 500 defendant insurance heavyweight based in Manchester. It is looking to add an experienced litigation executive into its thriving motor & casualty team to handle litigated cases from inception to settlement. You will be dealing with fully litigated claims between small claims to multi-track and assist fee earners where necessary.

Role Responsibilities

• File handling a mixed caseload of litigated motor and casualty claims ranging from small claims to multi-track
• Reviewing quantum, valuing general and special damages and finalising case plans including advice as to next steps
• Referring cases for supervision and guidance so as to ensure the correct procedure and process is followed
• Working to Court Deadlines and Managing time in an effective manner using organisational skills and case management system
• Seeing cases through from commencement of proceedings to conclusion whilst dealing with cases in a cost-effective matter

Ideal Candidate

• Experience of claim handling a litigated defendant caseload preferable
• Knowledge of motor insurance would be preferable
• Client-centric approach and excellent client care skills
• Excellent organisational skills
• Experience of communicating and working with clients
