Mapped Recruitment is delighted to be working with a multi-site retail organisation (150 + stores) on their search for a HR/Payroll Data/Systems associate to join the team on an interim period for circa 9 months (starting in January 2025).

The Interim HR & Payroll Data management coordinator will support both the HR department in the phase before a new HRIS system implementation. Reporting into the Head of People and working closely with the Payroll Manager.

This role has been newly created to support the preparation and cleansing of HR and payroll data before a new HR system is implemented.

Key Responsibilities:

Mapped Recruitment is delighted to be working with a multi-site retail organisation (150 + stores) on their search for a Payroll Data assistant to join the team on an interim period for circa 3-6 months (starting in January 2025).

The Interim Payroll Data assistant will support both the Payroll and HR departments in the phase before a new HRIS system implementation

This role has been newly created to support the preparation and cleansing of payroll data before a new HR system is implemented.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the HR and payroll teams to understand data requirements and ensure the data is aligned with the needs of the new system.
  • Participate in the system rollout and provide feedback on data-related issues that may arise.
  • Provide support and training to HR team members on the new system and data management best practices.
  • Support the payroll advisor with payroll queries.
  • Support in managing the payroll inbox.
  • Supporting stores with queries over the phone and via email.
  • Weekly reconciliation of payroll information
  • Assist with the monthly calculation and production of payroll for over 1,200 employees

Key Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years experience within a Payroll Data-driven role
  • Experience using a variety of systems such as Acccess and Bamboo
  • Aptitude to work with high-volume data sets (ideally in a fast-paced environment)
  • Strong Excel skills

Successful candidates must be available to start a role at short notice (January 2025) and be looking to commit to a fixed-term contract.

This role is based in the London Bridge area (hybrid working - 3 days in the office), 9am - 5pm working hours (4 days a week or fully remote will also be considered)
