Electrical Installation Engineer

Based in Northwest with travel UK wide

Site based work for 3 weeks at a time - All accommodation and travel expenses paid whilst on site

10 hrs a day for site work (65-70 hours per week)

Rest of work will be based in the factory near Wigan

3-month contract (likelihood of extension)

Rates: £24.00p/h - £27.00p/h - Ltd Company (Outside IR35)

This well-established company with a wide range of key world-renowned clients have recently won several exciting projects for the assembly, installation and commissioning of FMCG equipment. As a result, this company are looking for several contract Electrical Installation Engineers for a minimum 3-month contract, with the opportunity for that to be extended. You will be involved in the electrical installation of FMCG equipment predominantly conveyor systems for the food & beverage industries. As a skilled Electrical Installation Engineer, you will require to conduct the following duties:

On site installation of electrical systems and components for mechanical equipment predominantly conveyors
Working from electrical engineering drawings
Working closely with panel builders and draughtsman
Ability to get involved in any mechanical installation where necessary
10 hrs a day for site work (65-70 hours per week)
Rest of work will be based in the factory near Wigan
The successful Electrical Installation Engineer will need to have the following attributes:

Highly experienced in electrical installation ideally within the FMCG industry
Hands on experience in installing a wide range of electrical components such as drives & motors
Ability to read electrical engineering drawings
18th Edition Wiring Regulations (preferable)
Adept at working on your own initiative.
Work as part of a team
High work ethic
Must be willing to travel and stay away from home for up to 3 weeks at a time.
