The spacious interior allows for a large volume of customers to enjoy the regular entertainment events held at the pub. The external patio and beer garden allows for increased revenue throughout the warmer months and holding family friendly events throughout the summer.

The pub attracts a wide age range of customers with an emphasis on the retirees. The trade is driven through pub games, sports viewing on the large screens and entertainment. The new publican will need to be a hands on operator with local knowledge who wants to be at the heart of the local community. There is a real opportunity to re-establish trade by extending the current entertainment offer, further developing the sports based trade and offering draught products.

Situated in the centre of a large housing estate, the pub attracts residents from both the immediate and surrounding areas. Used as a community hotspot, local residents drive the wet trade at this pub. Located on the busy Spa View road, the Golden Plover attracts a good amount of passing trade too.
