Purpose: The Paraplanner supports advisors in creating and delivering exceptional advice, managing client reporting, analysis, and post-review actions, ensuring regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare recommendation and review reports, engaging with advisors and attending client meetings.
- Assist advisors in developing investment portfolios.
- Train team members on related activities.
- Maintain and improve investment management tools and processes.
- Support planners in applying these processes for clients.
- Act as a contact for administrative queries on portfolio changes.
- Ensure accurate client information in the CRM system (Curo).
- Contribute to process improvements and strategic goals.
Required Skills:
- Analyze and interpret data, solve problems, and present conclusions.
- Anticipate client needs and support the planning team.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with planners, advisors, and clients.
- Trustworthy, confidential, and tactful.
- High IT competency, including financial analysis tools.
- Self-motivated with strong personal goal management.
Required Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years working with high-net-worth UK private clients.
- Deep understanding of financial planning processes for various client profiles.
