We are excited to offer a full-time opportunity for an HR Assistant to join our client's dynamic team. This role will provide key support to the Head of HR and HR Advisor, contributing to various HR activities. About the Role

As an HR Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

Supporting the recruitment process, including liaising with candidates, managing agencies, preparing adverts, shortlisting, organizing and attending interviews, and issuing documentation
Taking responsibility for the on-boarding and induction process for new starters
Managing the day-to-day absence and sickness absence recording and tracking (using Bradford)
Providing support for on-site training and development activities, liaising with training providers, capturing training costs, course evaluation, and supporting internal HR training efforts
Conducting HR Induction sessions
Assisting with the implementation of an integrated HR and Payroll system
Supporting the appraisal process and leaver process (including exit interviews and final pay calculations)
Maintaining employee data on the HR system
Providing reception cover during periods of absence
Assisting with tasks surrounding Redundancies, TUPE, and Short time working
Providing support to the HR Advisor and Head of HR as required

About You

Essential:

Proven ability to maintain confidentiality
High level of attention to detail
Educated to 'A' level standard
Hold a CIPD qualification
Experience with an integrated HR and Payroll system
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written)
End-to-end recruitment and selection experience (including offers and negotiations)
Experience in onboarding and knowledge of entitlement calculations
Working knowledge of Bradford
Ability to support HR processes, including appraisals and employee data managementDesirable:

Experience of working with Cascade HR system
Conflict management skills
HRIS knowledge
Working knowledge of 360 appraisals
