Subject Lead of Design and Technology
Location: Haringey, London
The position will be permanent from September 2024.
Pay: MPS Inner London pay scale including TLR
Contract: Full Time
The ideal candidate will:
* Be an outstanding Teacher of Design and Technology
* Be experienced in raising or the desire to raise attainment in a challenging classroom environment
* Have proven experience of working or the desire to work successfully with students of all abilities
* Be committed to Schools ethos of high expectations and no excuses and the belief that every child can succeed
* Demonstrated expertise in design and technology education.
* Experience teaching product design and using CAD/CAM systems is preferable.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of effectively engaging with students, staff, and parents.
* Proven ability to implement strategic initiatives and manage change effectively.
* A deep understanding of the challenges faced by students in urban educational environments.
* Commitment to ongoing professional development and a passion for educational excellence.
