Axon Moore is partnering with a leading, PE backed SME based in West Manchester who, due to growth require an ambitious & forward thinking Management Accountant to join them on the journey.

Salary - £40,000 - £45,000

Location - Trafford

Hybrid - 4 days in the office 1 from home.

Responsibilities will include:

Preparation and posting of journals.
Preparation of accruals and prepayments.
Maintenance of fixed asset registers and capital expenditure analysis.
Preparation of accurate monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
Assist in the preparation of analysis of actual spend vs. budget.
Preparation of weekly and monthly information for inclusion in cash flow forecasts.
Work with operations teams to improve financial understanding of operational issues.
Work with proprietary systems to understand commercial variance analysis
Provide support to budgeting and forecasting process where required.
Ad hoc reporting and projects.

Person Specification:

Advanced Excel skills.
Comfortable with high volumes of data.
Good organisational skills - thorough and disciplined.
ACCA/CIMA Finalist or QBE
Previous experience with a similar, high volume Management Accounts role
