Mechanical Engineer required to join a prestigious manufacturing company, based in the Airdrie area. The Mechanical Engineer will play a crucial role in keeping the department running smoothly, while also carrying out both proactive and reactive maintenance on machinery and equipment, helping minimize downtime and optimize performance.

Responsibilities:

* Conduct both proactive and reactive maintenance to ensure equipment runs smoothly and efficiently, keeping operations uninterrupted.

* Perform scheduled preventative maintenance, ensuring longevity and reliability of equipment.

* Troubleshoot and resolve electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical faults.

* Undertake minor building and equipment repairs, ensuring facilities remain in high quality conditions and are operational.

Requirements:

* Experience in mechanical maintenance, ideally within a fast-paced production environment.

* Ability to diagnose and repair electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical faults.

* Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

* Flexibility to work shifts as outlined and occasional overtime when needed.
