Product Manager (Engineering/Manufacturing)

We are currently recruiting for a client in the West Oxfordshire region for a Product Manager position.

Candidates applying will ideally have:

Experience in product management

Experience from an Engineering / Manufacturing background

From a Physics or engineering background

Providing technical guidance to customers on product enquiries

Technology from component to large-scale instrumentation products

Materials Analysis

Measurement and Research applications

Product management responsibility

Working on technical / specific product ranges

Responsibility for developing and implementing a plan for the product range

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (but not limited to)

Compilation of commercial and technical documents for tenders

Use of Microsoft Dynamics CRM and Sage 200 software packages

Online calls with customers presenting solutions and CAD models

Data analysis and compilation of future product plans

Management of standard quotes and costings to maintain accuracy

Oversight of custom quotations

Responding to customer enquiries and providing quotations as required

Strong product management skills

Ability to deliver business negotiations

Confident with Microsoft Office Packages (Word and Excel)

Strong written and oral presentation skills

Experience using CRM Software (ideally Dynamics 365)

Customer focussed

Ability to customise excel reports and CRM templates
