Van Driver – DAY Shift

Circa £28k + Benefits + Bonus

Permanent contract  

Typical shifts; Day shifts – Monday to Friday, 11am – 8pm (some flexibility)  

Greenford, Park Royal, Wembley

Vanta Staffing are the exclusive staffing partner to an amazing artisan, manufacturer of high-end – Tortilla’s, sauces & salsa, hummus & pesto (NO MEAT)

Due to growth & contract wins, we are looking for an experienced Production Operatives with a proven background in food manufacturing.  

The successful Van Driver’s duties will include;

• Loading & Driving a long wheel base sprinter van delivering he companies goods to their customers
• Providing a through the doorstep service
• Goods in / Goods out, pick, pack and dispatch
• General Warehouse duties Adhere to all company SOP’s and health & safety
• Completing necessary/required paperwork
• Ad-here to all workshop SOP’s and co’ health and safety procedures
• Communicate with team leaders, managers and clients to ensure streamlined production

Required experience & characteristics;

• Current valid UK driving licence
• Maximum of 3points on the licence
• We are looking for foodies who are passionate about tastes & ingredients
• Reliable, committed & enthusiastic
• Ideally, professional experience with food preparation
• Methodical & practical thinker
• Previous experience of working in a food manufacturing or distribution environment will be a distinct advantage
• Live within commutable distance to Greenford, Wembley, Park Royal    
• Reliable & conscientious
• Courteous, polite & professional
