Hours of work: Mon - Thu 07:00 - 16:30, Fri 07:00 - 13:00, 42 hours per week paid

Linkster is seeking an experienced press brake operative to contribute towards the completion of kitted packages for welders and assemblers. This role involves using Bystronic press brake equipment to form the cut profiles then the understanding of bills of materials on drawings to kit with components to create full packages ready for the next operation.

Key Responsibilities of the Brake Press Operator

* Operate press brake equipment

* Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

* Ensure high-quality standards and precision in metal fabrication

* Carry out routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting

* Work efficiently to meet production deadlines

Requirements for the the Brake Press Operator

* Previous experience press brakes (Bystronic preferred)

* Strong understanding of sheet metal fabrication processes preferred

* Ability to read engineering drawings

* Attention to detail and commitment to quality

* Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
