A primary school in Lambeth (SW4) is working in partnership with Long Term Futures to appoint an experienced and enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant to join their Early Years team. This full-time position will involve working in a mainstream Reception and Nursery class, while also providing support across the school's well-established SEN provision.

Responsibilities:

Provide support within an EYFS classroom, helping deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with the Early Years framework
Work closely with the class teacher and SENCo to support children with identified SEN needs, including those requiring 1:1 attention
Use visual resources, sensory tools and adapted routines to assist pupils with communication, behaviour, and emotional regulation
Encourage language development and early social interaction through structured play and small group workCandidate Requirements:

Must hold a Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Early Years, or Teaching Assistance (e.g. CACHE, NVQ)
Experience supporting children in early years, both in mainstream and SEN settings
Strong understanding of child development, early learning goals, and inclusive practice
Experience working with children with ASD, ADHD, communication delays, or other SEN needs
