Electronics Testing and Quality Assurance Specialist

As an Electronics Testing and Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and performance of finished production units. This position offers the opportunity to grow professionally while making a significant impact on product quality and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Conducting thorough testing and investigation of finished production units, including fault finding and rectification.

Completing test reports and documentation in line with customer requirements and Quality Management System standards.

Upgrading and modifying assemblies and finished products.

Implementing changes to assemblies and finished products based on documentation.

Identifying quality and performance issues and raising non-conformances.

Collaborating with Design Engineering, Test Equipment Design, and Sales teams to meet customer requirements and ensure product quality.

Supporting the Company's ISO14001 Environmental Management System and ISO9001 Quality Management System by participating in improvement team activities and suggesting new 'green' opportunities.

Qualifications and Skills:

Ability to follow test procedures accurately and meet standard testing times.

Proficiency in using test equipment such as oscilloscopes, function generators, digital power supplies, and multimeters.

Experience in soldering and rework methods to IPC standards.

Experience in a lean manufacturing environment.

Competent in MS Office applications.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Strong repair and diagnostic fault-finding skills to component level.

HNC in Electrical/Electronic Engineering is desirable.

Work Schedule:

Monday to Thursday: 8:15am - 5:00pm

Friday: 8:15am - 1:00pm
