Health and Safety Advisor - Bicester

One of the UK's leading waste and resource management companies are currently seeking for a Health and Safety Advisor to join their energy from waste plant near Bicester. As a Health and Safety Advisor working within an EfW facility, you will be responsible for advising management teams on all health, safety and welfare subjects to ensure the company complies with its regulatory requirements.

Your responsibilities as a Health and Safety Advisor will include:

* Recommend preventative measures and advise on the standard of PPE issues to employees.

* Conduct Health and Safety audits and prepare reports of all the company's operations.

* Understand the applications of Health and Safety at Work (e.g., Act 1974).

* Acting as a focal point for Health and Safety best practice for the facility.

* Provide advice, guidance, assistance, support and making recommendations to Contract and Operational Managers.

Requirements:

* Experience in a similar HSE position.

* NEBOSH certificate in Occupational Safety and Health.

* IOSH Membership.

* Experienced working in the heavy plant sector (Quarrying or Waste Management sectors) would be an advantage.

What this is offering:

* A salary of £36,000 to £45,000 per annum.

* Discretionary Bonus.

* 37.5 hours per week.
