Tradewind Recruitment is looking for a compassionate Teaching Assistant eager to provide essential support for a child with SEN needs. The child has autism, so the ideal candidate must demonstrate a nurturing and caring approach. It is preferred that the candidate have experience in the classroom as a TA or with SEN students.

About the Role:

Work within a mixed-ability class that includes pupils with SEN diagnoses.
Provide tailored support for a non-verbal child to enhance their educational experience.
Lead targeted interventions as necessary to foster individual progress.
Develop engaging learning resources to stimulate academic growth.
Assist with classroom setup and tidying at the beginning and end of lessons where possible.Requirements:

Experience as a SEN Teaching Assistant is essential.
A proactive attitude and the ability to demonstrate initiative are a must.
Knowledge of PECS or non-verbal communication strategies is advantageous.
A Bachelor's degree is preferred but not mandatory.
This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable), and professional reference checks.
