Jaydee-Brook is an established and successful Shopfitting & Internal Fit Out Company based in Peterborough. With over 35 years' experience in retail, commercial, industrial installations and refurbishments, the Company has built a strong reputation for quality, efficiency and service.

As part of our expansion programme we are currently looking to recruit a:

ELECTRICAL PROJECT MANAGER

Location: Head Office Peterborough - Projects throughout UK & Ireland

Salary: £65,000 + p.a - dependent on experience

Hours: Full Time - Monday - Friday

Holidays: 20 days holiday + bank holidays

Pension: Workplace Company Pension Scheme

Vehicle: A Company vehicle or vehicle allowance is to be provided

Our Company prides itself on high standards, professionalism and quality of project delivery. Working with numerous high-profile clients, we are now looking for an Electrical Project Manager who has the relevant experience to join our management team.

The Electrical Project Manager will provide supervision to the electrical teams including accountability for safety, quality and efficiency aspects and provide a hands-on approach to electrical issues. The emphasis for this role is to ensure all installations are compliant and undertaken to a high standard.

Candidates should be able to work in a team or alone and show willingness to lead.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage & oversee electrical installations, repairs and maintenance work in accordance with current regulations.

* Carry out testing & inspection on completed electrical installations.

* Ensure that all relevant documentation is processed, and installations are completed in a timely manner.

* Experience with commercial and industrial electrical, fire alarm and data installations.

* Possess good communication skills.

* Ensure all work areas & equipment within your control are regularly and properly maintained and suitable for use.

* Ensure that teams are properly trained and managed to work in a safe, quality conscious and effective way, encouraging the medium / long term development of the team members.

* Set clear and comprehensive expectations, confront obstacles and provide meaningful and timely feedback.

* Manage employee relations issues to ensure discipline, and high standards of work and attendance at all times. Undertaking performance management activities as and when required.

* Build and maintain positive working relationships within the business, ensuring communications are always effective.

* Ensure safe working practices are in place and all incidents, accidents and observations are investigated and actions put in place to eliminate or mitigate reoccurrence.

Key Skills & Qualifications

* Experience supervising site operatives.

* Technical knowledge and understanding to be able to answer team member's questions.

* 18th Edition BS7671 qualified.

* C&G Testing & Inspection (desirable).

* IPAF (desirable).

* PASMA (desirable).

* Willing to learn and adapt to site specifics.

* Willing to travel and have a flexible “Can Do” approach
