About the Role
The role is to ensure the workers we deploy obtain mandatory skills training and certification to complete their works compliantly and safely, general Stores and processing of goods inwards and goods out and to ensure the efficient utilization of equipment provided to maximize quality and productivity within the company guidelines ensuring the timely execution of each process or production stage, necessary to achieve production programs and Company contractual commitments.

Key Responsibilities
Stores / Warehouse aspect of role:
* Goods in/ Goods Out/ Equipment Returns
* Input into and maintenance of stock control systems
* Placing of orders in a timely manner to avoid disruption to production
* To ensure cost effective purchasing and stock control.
* Assist with the unloading of deliveries and Goods inwards inspections.
* Responsible for accurate stock levels
* Actively participate and contribute in the effective management of "surplus" materials.
* Actively participate and contribute in the day-to-day interface between Purchasing and Production
* To ensure cost effective purchasing and stock control.
* Manage COSHH (Substances Hazardous to Health) items, ensuring proper secure storage, retention and access.
* Operate the folk lift truck as required, including for deliveries and to access storage. Ensure folk lift is checked prior to each use.
* Ensure good house-keeping in areas responsible for, including the warehouse and stores.

Training Aspect of role:
* Deliver specific training interventions, ensuring that all learning objectives are fully achieved in an atmosphere conducive to learning.
* Evaluate the effectiveness of training delivered in short, medium and long term.
* Ensure training materials are technically and legislatively correct.
* Ensure that the department's course delivery assets are maintained to the highest of standards.
* Ensure the continued security and correct use of all training documentation, evaluation and licensing materials.
* Assist the support team in the data inputting and storage of course details.
* Ensure all licensing / qualification criteria are maintained to ensure individual's ability to deliver.
* Coach other members of the delivery team to enable continued human resource development and therefore growth of business capability.
* Contribute towards the control of the overall budget for the department.
* Manage approved number of delegates.
* Liaise with the Training Administrator to ensure that the appropriate materials and stationery are available.
* Maintain knowledge and ensure keep up to date with the latest work practices and standards
