Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist attorneys in the preparation and review of financial documents, including loan agreements, securities filings, and corporate resolutions.
  • Conduct legal research on finance-related matters and provide summaries and reports.
  • Manage and organize case files, ensuring all documents are accurately filed and easily accessible.
  • Draft and proofread legal documents and correspondence.
  • Liaise with clients, financial institutions, and regulatory bodies to gather necessary information and documentation.
  • Support the due diligence process for mergers, acquisitions, and other financial transactions.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations affecting the finance sector.
  • Assist in the preparation of presentations and reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, or a related field.
  • Paralegal certification or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a legal or financial setting.
  • Strong understanding of finance and corporate law.
  • Excellent research, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
