Data Engineer

We are currently hiring a Data Engineer to work for a large manufacturing company based in Lancashire. The hire will play a vital role in designing, scaling and maintaining data infrastructure working across the business intelligence and analytical structures.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Azure cloud services (Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Databricks, etc.).
• Develop and optimize data models, data lakes, and data warehouses to ensure high performance
• Build and manage robust ETL workflows to support analytics and business intelligence teams
• Stay updated with the latest Azure services and recommend improvements or new tools where necessary
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements

Required:

• 2+ years experience as a data engineer
• Azure, SQL, ETL, and CI/CD experience
• Data warehouse experience is a plus
