About the role of Assistant Quantity Surveyor

As Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will be working for a big Tier 1 Main Contractor, with a turnover of £2bn, who are looking to grow their North London division. The projects you would be working on vary from around £20m - £30m and are currently focused on hospitals. Their office is located in Watford whilst their projects are based in North London. This contractor aspires to support Assistant Quantity Surveyors in achieving their professional or personal goals through their paths for career progression.

Key Responsibilities for Assistant Quantity Surveyor:

Looking after subcontractor payments and managing the full downstream process
Compile regular reports on the financial status of the project including cost analysis and forecasts
Support the preparation of tender documents and contractors bidsKey Requirements for Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Experience in working for a Main Contractor on projects values at £15m+
Live within commutable distance from Hampstead and Watford
Degree educated
Knowledge of PFI contracts What's on offer
