Senior Highway Technician

Location: Central London with hybrid working offered (2 days from home)

In this role you'll have the opportunity to see your design contributions play a central role throughout the project lifecycle. Working closely with the Highways, Infrastructure & Transport teams, you'll experience a collaborative environment where your input truly matters.

In this role you will join an experienced Civil Engineering team of 15 working alongside other departments and offices within the company. There is room for growth in the role as well and scope to work on projects in the UK and Internationally.

Experience Required:

Proficiency in highway design, including experience applying DMRB, Manual for Streets, and local authority standards and guidance
Skilled in creating technical drawings using AutoCAD
Competence in horizontal/vertical alignment design, ground modeling, and cut/fill analysis using Civil 3D
Experience with software such as AutoTrack, PDS Sign, and PDS Line (or similar software)
Familiarity with preparing drawings for S106/S278/S38 highway and adoption agreements
HNC or HND in Construction in the Built Environment (Civil Engineering) or equivalent relevant experience would provide a solid foundation for this role.For more information please contact Michael Power at Emtech Recruitment
