Job Title: Senior Risk ManagerJob Type: 6-month contractLocation: LondonSalary: £105,000 - £125,000Opportunity Overview: We have an exciting new opportunity for a Senior Risk Manager to Join Resource Solutions as a Workforce Consultant. As an Employed Workforce Consultant, you will benefit from permanent employment with Resource Solutions and will be deployed on an interim or project basis into our clients' organisations, in return we will provide you with the opportunity to develop your skills with ongoing training and professional accreditations.Role Objective: The Senior Manager ERM is part of the Risk function of my client's Underwriting Limited (MS AUL), the managing agency for my clients Lloyd's syndicate. The role holder supports on risk management work relating to operational risk and the Risk Management Framework and works with other members of the Risk function to support a range of risk management activities.Key Responsibilities:* Building relationships with stakeholders in Underwriting, Operations, Finance, and other areas of the business to understand their priorities and risk issues in their areas.* Providing independent review and challenge of strategy, processes, governance, and controls* Maintaining the Risk Management Framework to ensure it provides AUL with an appropriate structure to identify, assess and report on its risks.* Providing input into the ORSA to promote its use as a value-add report that supports and informs risk-based decision making.* Supporting deep dives and risk opinions across a range of risk areas across the business* Supporting various risk management activities, including risk identification, monitoring, and reporting and supporting the business in putting in place an effective control environment.* Supporting the review and maintenance of risk appetite and tolerance frameworks* Presenting results of analyses and reports to Senior Management* Championing a culture of risk awareness* Serving as an example for other members of the Risk functionRequirements:* Insurance experience is essential.* Lloyd's experience desirable.* Several years of experience of risk management frameworks and processes.* Ability to clearly and concisely communicate in writing and verbally.* Gravitas and the ability to hold your own in meetings with senior stakeholders.It wouldn't hurt if you:* Have experience in any of:o Project Risk Managemento Exposure Risk Managemento Stress and Scenario Testingo ESG Risk Managemento ORSA processeso Quantitative analysiso GRC SystemsDon't hesitate and miss out on this opportunity!
