eCommerce Merchandiser

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented eCommerce Merchandiser to drive online sales growth and optimise the digital presence for this Kilburn-based builders merchant. The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of SEO, merchandising, and eCommerce expertise to develop and execute strategies that enhance website traffic, conversion rates, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities of the eCommerce Merchandiser:

* Develop and implement comprehensive eCommerce strategies aligned with overall business objectives.

* Conduct in-depth market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for growth and optimisation.

* Optimise website content, product descriptions, and metadata to improve search engine rankings and organic traffic.

* Manage product assortment with help of assisted software.

* Create engaging product displays and promotions to drive customer interest and increase sales.

* Analyse website performance metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

* Collaborate with Marketing, Commercial, and Customer Support to enhance the overall customer experience.

* Stay up-to-date with eCommerce industry trends and best practices.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

* Proven experience in eCommerce, digital marketing, or a related field.

* Strong understanding of SEO principles and techniques.

* Proficiency in data analysis and reporting.

* Excellent project management and organisational skills.

* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

* Experience with eCommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce).

* Knowledge of Google Analytics and other web analytics tools.

* Experience with A/B testing and conversion rate optimisation.

* Knowledge of paid advertising channels (e.g., Google Ads, social media advertising).

* Experience with content management systems (CMS).
