Are you a finance professional with a keen eye for detail and a passion for maintaining strong financial processes? We are recruiting for a Credit Control / Finance Assistant to join a well-established and respected business in Coventry.

As part of their finance team, you will contribute to the smooth running of their accounts while playing a key role in ensuring strong financial control.
The Role
As a Credit Control / Finance Assistant, you will be an integral part of the finance team, ensuring that accounts are well-maintained, payments are received on time, and financial processes run efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Allocating daily receipts/payments and updating the ledger
- Reconciling the cash drawer journal
- Proactively contacting customers via phone and email to ensure timely payments
- Working with sales and accounts teams to resolve disputes and improve credit control processes
- Managing and reviewing customer credit limits
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date customer records
- Processing supplier invoices into the ERP system and ensuring all invoices are correctly matched and checked
- General bookkeeping tasks as required
