Copello are seeking a skilled and motivated Systems Engineer with a focus on Electronic Testability Services. The role is a 6 month contract to work with a defence client in the Hertfordshire area.

The successful Systems Engineer will have the following experience:

* Define and document test equipment requirements

* Optimising testability of products through the full lifecycles

* Verification & validation of test coverage across current and future project and programmes, while aligning to industry standards.

* Plan and execute production test activities in conjunction with the production team

* Constant monitoring of performance metrics and provide improvements within efficiency and reliability

* Produce documentation for test equipment, procedures and strategies.

The successful System Engineer will have the following skills and experience

* Proven experience in electronic testability design and implementation, preferably in a production environment.

* Strong understanding of diagnostic systems, test coverage analysis, and production test equipment.

* Proficiency in relevant tools and technologies, such as Automated Test Equipment (ATE), diagnostic software, and data analysis tools.

* Experience within the defence or electronic warfare sector.

Due to the nature of the programme candidates will require active SC clearance/or the ability to obtain SC clearance.

The role will require the successful Systems Engineer to be on site 3/4 days a week on site in the Hertfordshire area.

This position is outside of IR35 and is paying circa £55 per hour
