JMC Aviation are working with an MRO company based in South Wales, looking to recruit a new B1 Licensed Engineer to join their team.

This client is an international line and base maintenance provider, execute a range of duties from routine scheduled maintenance to rapid response casualty repairs and critical component changes. They also specialise in modifications and in-depth heavy maintenance checks, carrying out complex inspections and repairs as well as overseeing maintenance checks.

This is a Permanent Position based in South Wales.

4 on/4 off shift pattern, working 06:20 - 18:30 or 18:20 - 06:30.

The Role

The primary purpose of this role is to report to the Duty Station Maintenance Manager and be responsible for carrying out base maintenance activities.

Other Duties Involve

• Carrying out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance as well as defect rectification

In order to be successful in this role the B1 Licensed Engineer will need to demonstrate the following skills and attributes

• A current UK CAA Part 66 B1 license
• Typed rated on the B777 and/or B787
• Previous base maintenance experience
• Right to live and work in the UK
