Are you a Fire Engineer looking to take the next step in your career?

A growing engineering consultancy is looking for an Intermediate Fire Engineer to join their team. They provide innovative, compliant, and practical fire engineering solutions across a range of diverse projects. This is a great opportunity to work on complex assignments, enhance your skills, and progress toward achieving Chartership.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop fire engineering strategies in accordance with BS 9999, BS 7974, and Approved Document B.

* Design and assess active fire protection systems such as sprinklers, water mist, and gaseous suppression.

* Conduct fire risk assessments and offer expert fire safety advice.

* Assist with Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) modelling and fire simulations as needed.

* Collaborate with clients, architects, and regulatory bodies to ensure project compliance.

* Prepare technical reports, fire safety statements, and evacuation strategies.

* Support senior engineers in project execution and mentor junior team members.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

* Degree in Fire Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline (BEng/MEng/MSc).

* 2-5 years of experience in fire engineering consultancy or a similar role.

* Strong knowledge of fire safety regulations such as BS 9999, BS 7974, and Approved Document B.

* Experience with fire suppression systems (sprinklers, water mist, gaseous systems).

* Familiarity with AutoSprink, PyroSim, FDS, CFAST is advantageous (but not essential).

* Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit is a plus.

* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

* Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting.
