Nursery Manager

Salary: Up to £40,000

40 hours per week

If so, we're looking for a nurturing and experienced Nursery Manager to lead our client's team of educators and oversee daily operations in their small and welcoming nursery.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track-record as a Nursery Manager, demonstrating dedication to providing a safe and inclusive environment for children to thrive, and adept at ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Level 3 in Ealy Years or above
• Proven leadership experience in a Nursery setting
• In-depth knowledge of child development and best practices in early childhood education
• Outstanding communication, leadership, and organizational abilities
• Strong cultural competence and a dedication to diversity, equity, and inclusion
• Valid certification in early childhood education and first aid/CPR

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operations of the nursery, including staff management, daily schedules, and curriculum planning
• Ensure the implementation of an enriching and age-appropriate curriculum that fosters learning and development
• Cultivate a warm and inclusive atmosphere for children and families from diverse backgrounds
• Recruit, train, and mentor a team of early childhood educators to deliver exceptional care and education
• Ensure compliance with licensing, regulatory requirements, health and safety standards, and early childhood education best practices
• Foster positive relationships with families, community partners, and stakeholders to contribute to the nursery's growth and success
