Salary: £28,500 - £30,000 per annum
We are representing a leading organisation in the hospitality industry, looking for a permanent addition to their Accounts team.The ideal candidate will have two years experience in a finance role such as an accounts assistant or similar, with exposure to accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Responsibilities: - Assist with day-to-day accounting tasks such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and maintain financial records, including invoices, expense reports, and journal entries.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analysing account information.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Support the finance team in various ad-hoc projects and tasks as needed.
Requirements: - Ideally 2 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Ability to commute to the office in Darlington 5 days a week.
